Golf Tournament
Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center’s annual golf tournament is Baton Rouge’s only professional golf tournament. What was begun 19 years ago as a Charity Golf Tournament has turned into Baton Rouge’s premier week-long golf event, featuring a four-day professional tournament, Pro-Am and junior clinic.
Last year's tournament was one of the most successful in its history, netting over $170,000. Proceeds from the week benefit Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center, which provides hundreds of free cancer screenings and programs to thousands in southeast Louisiana each year. This year, we expect to raise even more funds to fight cancer with the excitement of the Adams Golf Pro Tour Series Mid-Season Championship bringing more professional golfers to Baton Rouge than ever before.
